Creating customised special tools.
To help the customer understand which tool is best suited for the type of processing in question, a configurator tool is available for use on the TOMMASIN.com website.
The configurator allows you to quickly enter all the technical specifications that your tool must have for the type of processing in question.
You will then proceed to create the DWG or 3D drawing, required before the special tool can be produced.
In addition, we are able not only to obtain the tool profile directly from the workpiece drawing provided by the customer, but also the entire tool package required for the entire production process.
Semi-finished grinding tool.
After the drawing has been created, the semi-finished grinding tool is made, in order for the tool’s geometries to be as precise as possible.
Sharpening and polishing.
Subsequently, the cutting edges are sharpened, and the tool is polished with a special finish that guarantees an accurate chip removal, for a better workpiece result.
Laser marking.
By laser marking, it is possible to insert graphics or codes – even customised ones – on the tool being made.
Coating.
Different types of coating can be applied to the tool, depending on the material to be processed. This will allow the tool to perform better and increase its lifespan.
